主耶穌受洗的這段經文，一直都是眾教會在討論神觀時，一個難以解決的問題，耶穌要如何同時出現在地上，又在天上發出聲音呢？以及主耶穌的肉身在地面上禱告的時候，是在跟天上的靈禱告嗎？

《使徒行傳》第4章記載，宣道和靈恩工作展開時，必定有阻擋，往往藉由人、事、物發生，但本質是魔鬼的作為，這是屬靈爭戰的常態。
傳道分享自己在神學院時曾被魔鬼威脅：「你活不過10月15號」，他還一度信以為真、內心恐懼，後來藉同工提醒而領悟：「魔鬼的話怎能信呢？」以及為被魔鬼作工、邪靈捆綁的人趕鬼的經歷。「有聖靈的工作，也有魔鬼的工作，我們要用信心來打這一場仗！」當然，神的工人不能逃避問題，除了有忠心，也要有智慧和見識去突破。
