Die erste Folge zeigt eine gute Mischung aus "nimmt sich ernst in der Erzählung" und "ist abgedreht/verrückt/albern in der Story". Besonders gut gefällt mit Wolfgang Bahro in der Titelrolle in seiner Mischung von Eitelkeit und Normalsein, wie auch die ganze Geschichte deutlich weniger sci-fi-ig rüberkommt, als man zunächst denkt (analoger Anrufbeantworter) und zugleich einem sehr bekannt vorkommt (Ärztesprechstunden von einer Viertelstunde vormittags und einer Viertelstunde nachmittags).
