It's nice to hear a proper music podcast that doesn't just rely on nostalgia baiting. Taub actually knows what he's talking about in a variety of genres and eras.
This Slaps! is a fantastic podcast bringing down to earth, genuine discussion about diverse music genres to listeners each week. The production is clean and the discussions are well-informed and engaged while maintaining the “normal people listening to good music” vibe this podcast strives for. Mr. Taub does a fantastic job bringing diverse voices together to discuss all things music.
Insightful takes on music from cool guests. Ben’s a great host and really helps make each featured album shine. Great way to find new ways to love tracks you already loved and also ones you overlooked. Yeah, it slaps.
This is such a cool podcast that is super easy to get into! I love hearing stories of what certain albums mean to them and how they’ve connected with the music. Definitely worth a listen!!
