I’m out there binging all of the guest star interview episodes, and I’m loving every minute of it! For true Seinfeld obsessives, these interviews are a goldmine of very specific insights into how Seinfeld episodes are made. They’re really insightful, interesting, down-to-earth conversations. It’s refreshing to hear from creative professionals who are also “real” people. Yes, the recordings can be a little rough sometimes, but overall, this has been a great deep dive for me.
For my money, I doubt they can go an episode without talking about how bad over half the seasons are on a Seinfeld podcast which is bizarre, especially the Frogger (they mentioned it again in the newest episode), Larry David, how many people tuned in, the night it was on per episode, and how Seinfeld was a well oiled machine. Also misquoting everything and everyone and how the show could have ended after 4 season. Unreal.

Larry Charles AND STILL ranted about seasons 6-9, how the show could have ended after Season 5 which is crazy, and how they hate the later seasons. They have an opportunity to interview and ask legitimate questions but every question for the guests is “did the atmosphere feel different without Larry David?” Just ridiculous questions that nobody really wants to hear. I love listening to the interviews but these guys are ridiculous.

These guys are 2 of the most obnoxious humans I’ve ever listened to. They don’t know how to interview, they’re not real Seinfeld fans as they have to repeatedly state how they had the later seasons, they’re obsessed with Larry David and every interview revolved around HIM, and they have such a great opportunity to interview great guest stars, props, but they do a horrible job by rambling, asking asinine questions, and revolving the entire episode into a Larry David and brown nosing of the cast s... more
