  • Such Potential

Listening to the first 2 episodes and I really enjoyed it. Definitely a left leaning slant which was fine. America right, you’re allowed your opinion, and unfortunately politics right now enters every conversation. Then the episode on Charlemagne dove into 10 minutes of liberal drivel which had nothing to do with history, or Charlemagne, or why he sucked. Just got worse from there. It’s ok to have political opinions and include them in your show, but don’t bait and switch your audience. Thought... more

  • Love the concept, couldn’t finish the episode

The Percy Grainger episode has a 20 minute lead up to the hosts bringing up a few things from his past, but nothing worth the build up or that couldn’t have been mentioned off the bat. I love the concept for the show, but I’d prefer the extra stuff to be left out— tell us the good stuff!

  • Ford

At approximately 6:18 in the show the historian guest completely botched the name of the city of Ford’s facility. If you’re an “expert” or want to discuss any topic regarding a specific region, I would encourage you to learn local vernacular. It made me turn off and disregard. He may not have been a great guy, but to listen to someone who can’t pronounce the location/city name is correctly made me tune it out.
