Such a crazy, horrific story but such a good listen!
I have been listening to Sword & Scale since it stared so I have been a Mike fan and S&S fan for years. There just is no other podcast like it. His storytelling is the best. I am an avid true crime fan and have listened to every podcast under the sun and none compare to Mike and/or S&S. This one is no different- captivating, entertaining, thoughtful. So so good. I love that this one is a whole series. I am forever a Mike and S&S fan and whatever other content they put out!!
The story itself is interesting and well told; but aspects of the story are repeated in slightly different words numerous times, I suppose to stretch the story to fill numerous episodes. Especially emotional and distressing details are repeatedly dwelt upon to the point that it’s annoying.
It’s a good podcast, not great. Reason being that it repeats the same information over and over again, making the whole episode very repetitive.
Of course, I listened because of Sword and Scale and Mike. I binged the entire series twice. The storytelling was as expected, maybe even a bit better. Lovin’ the little quips that he adds, LOL! But the details were really great. And the interviews were perfect. I like it more when you can’t hear the interviewer’s voice. 😊 Great job!
Absolutely recommend!
