This is a great short form podcast. Only criticism is I’d love more international content, including from my part of the world in Australia.
And here we are on 3/11/2026, the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake (how the Japanese refer to it) and your pinch hitter host mentions only that the “Tohoku Quake” damaged a nuclear reactor. No mention of the tsunami or the number of dead. Meanwhile the main event mentioned was the birth of the reality TV show “COPS”. WOW. It’s January 6, 2026 and NO mention of the 5th anniversary of the January 6th insurrection?!? In a country that is sliding quickly into authoritarianism and dictatorship, we need *everybody* to keep telling the truth. Leaving out an event like the J6 insurrection is passively denying it happened. You talked about Emit Till, you talk about Juneteenth, the Birth of America, but you leave out when it was attacked from within.
