  • Short and snappy

This is a great short form podcast. Only criticism is I’d love more international content, including from my part of the world in Australia.

  • Love this podcast BUT

And here we are on 3/11/2026, the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake (how the Japanese refer to it) and your pinch hitter host mentions only that the “Tohoku Quake” damaged a nuclear reactor. No mention of the tsunami or the number of dead. Meanwhile the main event mentioned was the birth of the reality TV show “COPS”. Leaving out an event like the J6 insurrection is passively denying it happened. You talked about Emit Till, you talk about Juneteenth, the Birth of America, but you leave out when it was attacked from within.

My previous and much less important review:

  • January 6th

For there to be no mention of the fifth anniversary of the violent insurrection/attempted coup at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, is inexcusable. And it seems obvious that the administration has gotten to the history channel. Nothing is worse than rewriting history, or in this case, erasing it altogether. If this is now your MO you can no longer call yourself the history channel. Just another propaganda arm of an authoritarian government. I trust you will lose many listeners and viewers now... more
