Only to come to the reckoning that the world doesn't give meaning to my life. I do. Join me as I discuss how we make meaning from our liv... more

  • Timeless Wisdom for Real Personal Growth

The Kevin Miller Podcast stands out because it doesn’t just talk about personal growth, it invites you to truly examine how you’re living and what’s driving your choices. Kevin has a way of asking the kinds of questions that stick with you long after the episode ends. I consistently walk away with both a new perspective and something tangible to apply in my own life.

  • No substance

Was excited to find this podcast as the subject matter really interests me , but the episodes are a half very surface level general unscripted musing on the topic with no reference to any evidence on the claims and no practical advice, and then half ads. For example a recent episode on trauma could be boiled down to: resolve your trauma. No other insight beyond that. Seems like the host is just phoning it in at this point to cash a paycheck on the ads.

  • A wannabe influencer paying for fake ratings

Kevin has struggled to not be as popular as he wants so he has started buying fake ratings. Notice over 1000 ratings but only a handful of actual reviews. Kevin you were a good interviewer but now you are ruining your reputation.

Managing Your Relationship As A Human Who Engages Daily With The 7 Deadly Sins w/ Medieval Scholar Peter Jones
Q: How does the cycle of recognition → improvement → repeat apply to daily life?
We acknowledge the impulse, attempt to improve next time, and accept that perfection is impossible, which allows for a forgiving, ongoing process of personal growth.
Managing Your Relationship As A Human Who Engages Daily With The 7 Deadly Sins w/ Medieval Scholar Peter Jones
Q: What is the practical takeaway of viewing the seven deadly sins as a map of the mind rather than a shopping list of crimes?
They are tools for self-awareness and improvement, encouraging recognition of one's impulses, followed by conscious effort to steer them toward more constructive outcomes rather than trying to eradicate them completely.
A Compelling Case That Thriving Comes From A Shared Communal Endeavor w/ Celebrated Author & Journalist Daniel Coyle
Q: How can leaders create spaces that foster this kind of growth?
Leaders should establish a clear vision and guardrails, encourage small-group conversations, check in on personal growth, and empower people to take risks and lead themselves within the shared journey.
A Compelling Case That Thriving Comes From A Shared Communal Endeavor w/ Celebrated Author & Journalist Daniel Coyle
Q: What is the difference between growth that is outcome-focused versus growth of capacity and relationships?
Growth should be about expanding people's gifts and capacities, not just achieving a predefined outcome; truly sustainable growth happens when individuals grow through relationships and contribute their gifts within a collaborative system.
A Compelling Case That Thriving Comes From A Shared Communal Endeavor w/ Celebrated Author & Journalist Daniel Coyle
Q: How would you define interdependence and its role in flourishing?
Interdependence is a relational process where people experiment together toward a shared direction, staying connected while allowing agency, which enables growth that emerges from collaborative effort rather than isolated striving.
