Just two friends who like to watch... TV! Hosts Rodnesha Green and Kali Thomas started this podcast because they needed a space to discuss the TV series, Severance! At the time, no one was talking about it - and that just seemed crazy - so they made space for each other. The show has since blossomed into an expanded universe of recaps, commentary, and deep dives of film and TV alike. Come join us ... more

I really like the fresh takes on this pod! Every idea they have is original and gets my mind thinking about this show in a different way. I loved the season 2 reviews that were not spoiled! đ
This podcast is a lot of fun! If you want a Severance podcast with some nice banter, this is the one!
Sound quality is fair but is often distracting from the content. It sounds like the hosts are under water in a closet.
after season 2 ended, i've just been fiending for anything severance to sink my teeth into. i tried listening to several other podcasts and video series, but none of them hit the mark and always ended up being grating due to outlandish theories or just straight-up wrong interpretations. also they all had men in them. this is the only thing i've listened to and actually enjoyed, and no wonder because it's the only one run by two Black women. their banter is charming and i find myself agreeing wit... more
This is one of my favorite severance podcasts and it should have way more listeners and reviews. These two ladies always get the quotes right, and in a show like this that is so incredibly important. Each word and look and prop and shot and music cue is chosen so carefully by the show runners and directors, and the hostsâ commentary never fails to address each tiny nuance. Thank you for your time and attention! Looking forward to your continued coverage for season three

A sharp, takes-driven analysis show led by two women who repeatedly unpack Severance episodes with careful attention to character motivation, narrative structure, and industry commentary. Across seasons, the hosts deliver thoughtful breakdowns of themes like identity, power, memory, and workplace culture, often tying in meta-level discussions about branding, media production, and storytelling craft. Bonus Patreon content reportedly includes deeper dives into the pilot and family history, suggesting a layer of behind-the-scenes context that complements the main discussions. The banter is warm and personal, and the analysis is grounded in a strong knowledge of film, TV, and performance, making it a fit for listeners who want both theory and p... more
