I really enjoyed this podcast, having a now 12+ year old Bluestem female. When you spoke of May and how fierce she was….i will tell you our TracHer brought into the house through the doggie door, a cottontail rabbit at 5 months old, her interest in fur remains strong to this day. It includes squirrels and raccoons and a few encounters with porcupines over the years. Your May was TracHer’s dam.
