I love the wheel of Time and was happy to find the show with two great guys that were very funny and passionate like I was. So it was hard when in the first or second episode they put everyone that didn’t agree with their politics in one big bucket and called them f-ing a-holes.
These guys really didn’t get episode eight, did they? They seem to have forgotten that the climax of the first book made no sense, and the show’s version of the Eye is actually an improvement on it. They’re right about the rest, though. The show’s version of Fal Dara and Tarwin’s gap was not very good.Especially way too many character death fakeouts.
TWOTSaTWOTS, a fabulous series for those who have or have not read the books. I’m of the ‘have not’ category and I’ve enjoyed the show’s deep dive into each episode as well as some comparisons to the book.
Makes me want to buy the book, put it on my shelf for a few years, and maybe pick it up during the next global pandemic.
It is pronounced “swan” not sue-ann. At least refer to the audiobooks for correct information.
I’m like 60 seconds into listening to my first episode and I can honestly tell you I will listen to this crew talk about anything. Great personalities, I can’t wait to see how they feel about this show as the books are my all time favorite.
