  • Interesting insights into world politics, highlighting the significance of political positions that may not be obvious to casual observers. Separately the 2 presenters might be a bit annoying, but together they compliment each other. Fun without being trivial.

Really enjoying the listen thank you. Highly recommended

I think a discussion on perspective is missing in this virus psyche. We accept & sympathies with the drama of death especially close to home. We seem to be missing the perspective of numbers of deaths a year eg if 600k die in uk annually 22k from covid is 3.6% if 100% unexpected deaths. • The Right Trousers

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson. Batman and Robin. Starsky and Hutch. Famous historical duos now joined by the the legendary pairing of Dr Waywell and Tim Marshall, a pair of geopolitical sleuths fighting to make the world a more factual place. Two lovely northern chaps putting the world to rights once a week mixing real insights into geopolitics with infectious comedy and buckets of trivia. The Wallace and Gromit of geopolitics. Great way to get a round up of what is happening in the world once a... more

  • Refreshing

I love this podcast for bringing the FACTS (!) to the news and manages to clearly distinguish them from opinion or interpretation. This is so refreshing in today’s media. I really appreciate how the presenters give historical background to emerging stories in a way that isn’t patronising to a millennial like me.
