  • Pretty Damn Good

A simple structure with a really nice flow - touches on both niche and mainstream punk so there's something for everyone and the chemistry between the presenters is great. Also downloaded a couple of the band recommendations after listening so it's great if you're looking for new music suggestions. All in all, a total winner - looking forward to the next one!

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Slam Dunk Festival 2026
Q: If there was a song by an artist on this bill that you could change and make a Bayside song, what would you pick?
Nick from Bayside suggested a Bayside-ized version of a Menzingers song would suit their style, while the others offered Taking Back Sunday and Santoria as plausible options, reflecting their bands' influences and the collaborative spirit of the festival lineup.
Kenny Vasoli (The Starting Line)
Q: What were the key production decisions on Based on a True Story and Direction?
There was tension around production, with Tim O'Hare initially involved, later switching to Chris Lord-Alge for mixing, and then Howard Benson for some finishes; the band wrestled with edits and the balance between experimental sounds and their core energy, ultimately choosing producers who could preserve their spirit while elevating the recordings.
Kenny Vasoli (The Starting Line)
Q: How did Eternal Youth come back together after years apart?
The resurgence was enabled by a shared recognition of a growing scene and a readiness to write together again, with a process that emphasized collaboration, listening across miles, and letting the songs evolve over several years before committing to recording.
Matt Richardson (Comedian)
Q: What's your take on Slam Dunk and festival lineups?
Matt discusses evaluating lineups holistically, preferring a day with varied acts he wants to see, and planning to attend South and possibly North depending on schedules.
Matt Richardson (Comedian)
Q: How did the TikTok fame come about?
He explains accidental TikTok success by sharing candid thoughts about his career and industry, leading to consistent content creation and a large increase in followers and show attendance.
