There is a very significant, “exhausted majority” of Americans looking to move past this rotten moment in American life. They have lost trust and faith in government, business, media and not-for-profit institutions at a moment of technological, cultural and economic upheaval. Fascism did not rise in the 1930s because it was strong, but rather, because democracy was weak. The cycle is repeating its... more

Great conversation and opinion
Today’s episode with Jennifer and Pump (I’ve Had It/IHIP News), was the mash up I needed to hear!! Steve nails it daily, and when you toss in some Dean Blundell…it’s truth and facts, with some much needed laughter. Great listen every time.
Ken Harbaugh, thank you for the work you’ve done. If only our tv personality could have had the dignity, fortitude, intelligence, patriotism, honor, and love of country of Zelensky. I find it interesting that that comparison has not been made—two tv personalities who made such different life choices.

Across episodes, the host provides forceful, opinion-driven commentary on contemporary American politics, with a heavy emphasis on Trump-era dynamics, democratic norms, media influence, and the role of power in shaping national policy. Conversations often lean into stark moral framing, historical comparisons, and calls to accountability, frequently supported by guest experts who offer critical perspectives on politics, public health, or civil rights. A notable pattern is pairing incendiary monologues with interviews or panel discussions that challenge mainstream narratives, making it a punk‑rock take on current events that appeals to listeners seeking unflinching, provocative analysis and mobilizing calls to action.
