  • Zero info worth listening to

I have listened to three episodes, hoping, praying for good content. The hosts are Two people dying to be noticed, this show is like someone perused AIN and PJC for content. Note to creators don’t copy this show! Oh I almost forgot, no one is going to leak any insider info here

  • Not cool

This is a good example of why aviation news needs discipline.

The NTSB investigation isn’t complete, and “I think it was NTSB or DOT” isn’t sourcing — it’s guessing. Claims about corrosion, dual engine power loss, and lawsuits need specific citations: docket numbers, filings, and the exact language in the factual record.

If you’re going to cover an accident involving fatalities, you owe the crews, passengers, and the industry accuracy over adrenaline.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hop-A-Jet on Loss, Leadership & the Challenger 604 Accident
Q: Can you walk us through the behind-the-scenes work you had to do after the accident, including internal morale and family notifications?
We relied on our emergency response program, conducted drills, and leaned on a partner like Fireside Partners. We also focused on delaying formalities with families until proper notification could be made and used the experience to improve our ERP and family-notification training.
Jet Fuel, War Risk, and a Family Business
Q: explain to us what Avfuel is.
Avfuel is a downstream aviation energy company that handles fuel from refinery to the aircraft, with branding extended across its distribution network to provide a consistent Avfuel-facing identity and services.
Private Jet Summer: G650 Values Rise, World Cup Chaos Ahead
Q: What risks should buyers or operators be aware of in this environment?
Risks include market scarcity, potential dilution of data due to free FMS platforms (if that becomes a norm), regulatory or anti-trust concerns around pricing transparency, and operational exposure to external shocks like tariff changes or sudden policy shifts that could impact resale dynamics.
Private Jet Summer: G650 Values Rise, World Cup Chaos Ahead
Q: How does the 650 compare to the 700/800 family in terms of value and upgrade dynamics?
The 650 can deliver roughly 85-90% of the capability of a brand-new 700/800 at about half the price, with immediate availability, which makes it attractive for Fortune 500 fleets and high-net-worth buyers seeking quicker upgrades without a multi-year wait.
Private Jet Summer: G650 Values Rise, World Cup Chaos Ahead
Q: What is driving the G650 market to appreciate rather than depreciate?
Greg Sydor points to a confluence of factors: new participants entering aviation, a broad four-cohort demand (high net worth, Fortune 500 flight departments, charter operators, fractional operators), and a preference for large-cabin aircraft, plus fleet upgrade cycles that push top-line models like the 650 into the market at strong values.
