  • Great O’s Podcast

I usually agree with most of what you folks say…however, I couldn’t disagree more with the perfect scenario being to sign Juan Soto. His ego didn’t work here in San Diego and he’s a hack in the outfield. I don’t think that his personality would mesh with this young team.

    Love the work fellas….

  • My favorite podcast.

Lifelong Os fan. None of my friends are so finding this pod has been awesome. I’ve never known more about baseball or Orioles minor league. Honestly I’d pay twice what I do for the patron chat.

  • Need to work on throwing to commercials

I like the pod. Its in my wheelhouse as a die hard O’s fan who enjoys learning more about the prospects coming up. The hosts are knowledgeable even if they are almost always wearing orange tinted glasses.

My big problem with this is pod is the production level is amateur hour. They drop in commercials in the middle of one of the hosts or guests talking. It is nice they have advertising but please do a better job throwing to the commercials rather than randomly dropping them in. Whether they can... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

June Mailbag
Q: Who do the Orioles draft at number seven next month?
There is no single consensus; debates range from Drew Burris, Eric Booth Jr., Tyler Bell, to other high-upside options. The panel considers signing bonuses, college vs. high school trajectories, and potential deals to move up or down depending on board dynamics.
June Mailbag
Q: What is your stance on trading Taylor Ward at the deadline if the team is contending?
The group argues that trading Ward for a multi-year arm is unlikely to fetch significant value mid-season, so they lean toward keeping him if contending, while acknowledging the possibility of trading for a controllable arm if the return is substantial and safeguards future depth.
June Mailbag
Q: Who do you think gets caught up in September, and who do you want to see if that changes anything there?
Estrada is a notable contender to get a September look if he continues to hit, with a potential role as a left-handed bench bat or spot starter, depending on the club's contention status. Other names like Enrique Bradfield Jr. are discussed for speed and defense if health permits.
O'ster Analytics Strikes Back
Q: What trends are you seeing in the Orioles farm system that fans should watch this season?
The system is maturing with some players showing power growth and improved contact, but there are red flags around walk rate, chase rate, and defensively constrained profiles that could limit high-end ceilings unless the hitting approach evolves.
April Mailbag
Q: Who are the top three Oriole prospects deserving of a promotion of level early in this season?
The hosts name Tyson Nabors, Braden Sloan, and Cobb Hightower as top candidates for a quick promotion, while noting other strong contenders such as Jirwa, Quinn, and Neighbors who could also move quickly depending on health and roster needs.
