I do not have the same condition as the host however. I find her experiences relatable to some of the struggles I’ve had as a disabled person around sex and intimacy. I think this podcast is valuable for everyone, but especially those who feel different because of their body regardless of what condition they have thank you for sharing your story and being open.
Thank you for your podcasts. They are exactly what I have been searching for, an idea of what it is like to grow up with CAIS. You don’t know how much good you are doing, not only for everyone’s general understanding, but for parents raising CAIS girls. Doctors are still saying the same things concerning treatment. I hope pediatricians will listen to your podcast too.
I’ve learned so much so quickly due to how open and honest Jackie (the host) is. Phenomenal!
I love your podcast and learn so much. I’m a peds nurse and had babies born with ambiguity that brought up ethical dilemmas. I hope we did the right things. Now I’m a high school teacher and want to be as aware as possible. Thank you, Jackie.
As a 45-year-old woman, I’ve learned more from The Unedited Body than I ever did in school. Jackie’s vulnerability, strength, and willingness to share her story is deeply moving — and she’s a stunningly beautiful woman inside and out. I’m so grateful for her voice and the education this podcast brings. Much needed!
