It's fun to listen to this show while I myself rebuild defenders. On a funny note, I drove a freelander for quite awhile. Then I traded it in towards an L322. The motor in the freelander blew up less than a week later. Hehe!
Great show! Real Land Rover guys talking about real Land Rovers. Buy the screwdriver set and you won’t regret it
Thanks Steve and Ike for a brilliant weekly podcast, thoroughly enjoyable!
Love this podcast. I listen to tons of car podcasts, everything from the usual suspects (Spike, Farrah, Behind the Glass, etc etc) — to the auction podcasts from BaT etc — and most of the podcasts that focus on a single marque aren’t great. Two hosts explore the world of Land Rovers with a mix of news, deep-dive engineering talk, and community storytelling. Episodes center on new model debuts, factory news, and restorations, often weaving in hands-on build tips, event coverage, and behind-the-scenes brand storytelling from enthusiasts and professionals. A standout pattern is the blend of technical know-how with humorous banter and strong community focus around events, overlanding, and archival Land Rover history. Listeners likely get practical restoration and modification insights, plus a sense of the broader Land Rover culture and the personalities driving it, from designers and journalists to off-road adventurers.
