  • Time ford not stand still

I believe every one of us has expressed the desired and go back in time and change something. But Trey has definitely brought up good points about doing that, in that changing one thing would change everything. It definitely gets my mind to thinking. I love his podcast His thoughtfulness about the subjects he talks about and the sin that he is overall a good human being.

Always come away learning something from your show. Thank you for expanding my civics education.

Also Trey, I have a question. Is it true that judges do not need a law degree or have to pass the bar exam??

  • Judges

Totally enjoy your opinions. I have a question about how on earth can I vote for judges now that I realize how corrupt they can be by not following laws. How can over judges I’m suppose to vote on in the elections. It seems the only info I get about them is points on a postcard. How should I vet them?

  • Trey Gowty

I never miss one of your shows and I love them all. I do have a question though. Why do you always say that you don’t have any presence on social media, yet you have an Instagram account? We don’t manage it yourself. But you can’t truthfully say that trey Gowdy does not have a presence on social media. Thank you.

The Secret History of the World’s Most Dangerous Letter
Q: Where do you draw inspiration for the female characters and how do they drive the mystery?
He emphasizes that the female carries the mystery in his stories, often presenting the pivotal truth or secret that the male protagonist must uncover, which drives the plot and themes of both A Man at Arms and The Arcadian.
The Secret History of the World’s Most Dangerous Letter
Q: What inspired the themes of war, faith, and justice in your books?
He describes life as a battle and uses internal struggle as a metaphor for real warfare, explaining that The War of Art has taught him to view personal discipline and fear as sources of conflict within, which informs his historical fiction.

Q: How do you write something that picks up where a previous book left but still stands alone as a standalone?
Pressfield explains that he focuses first on the core story and character arc, then fills in historical details to support that narrative, ensuring the plot remains accessible even for readers who haven't read earlier installments.
