  • Time ford not stand still

I believe every one of us has expressed the desired and go back in time and change something. But Trey has definitely brought up good points about doing that, in that changing one thing would change everything. It definitely gets my mind to thinking. I love his podcast His thoughtfulness about the subjects he talks about and the sin that he is overall a good human being.

  • Always a good education !

Always come away learning something from your show. Thank you for expanding my civics education.

Also Trey, I have a question. Is it true that judges do not need a law degree or have to pass the bar exam??

Totally enjoy your opinions. I have a question about how on earth can I vote for judges now that I realize how corrupt they can be by not following laws. How can over judges I’m suppose to vote on in the elections. It seems the only info I get about them is points on a postcard. How should I vet them?

  • Trey Gowty

I never miss one of your shows and I love them all. I do have a question though. Why do you always say that you don’t have any presence on social media, yet you have an Instagram account? We don’t manage it yourself. But you can’t truthfully say that trey Gowdy does not have a presence on social media. Thank you.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Q & Trey: "The Sound Of Regret"
Q: Will there be more questions answered from The Color of Death in the The Sound Of Regret, and when is the release?
The Sound Of Regret is a standalone as well as part of a trilogy; the book will release soon with narration by the same narrator as the first book, and some questions from Color of Death will be addressed in it, while new questions will arise.
Q & Trey: "The Sound Of Regret"
Q: How would a talking filibuster end the debate for the Save America Act and pass it?
A real talking filibuster would require extensive time and coordination, potentially spanning days and including numerous amendments and parliamentary inquiries; however, its practical viability is constrained by math, political optics, and the willingness of a large coalition to sustain such a long protest.
Q & Trey: "The Sound Of Regret"
Q: How can a DSA member be sworn into public office when they are required to swear allegiance to the US Constitution as it is written?
The oath is read, and members typically say 'I do' at the end; most understand it as allegiance to the Constitution as a living document, and there are multiple philosophical ways people interpret it, though the official requirement remains a constitutionally-backed oath.
A Senator’s Legacy, A Sister’s Next Chapter | Darline Graham
Q: What is your approach to understanding and serving constituents while managing a demanding schedule?
Dedicating time to read legislation, asking questions, surrounding yourself with informed colleagues, and leveraging a supportive team to stay connected with the needs of families and communities.
A Senator’s Legacy, A Sister’s Next Chapter | Darline Graham
Q: How has personal tragedy shaped your political priorities?
Personal loss has reinforced the importance of stability for families, affordability, and practical support systems; it also deepened commitment to public service and to carrying forward Lindsey's legacy in public policy, especially around national security and economic issues.
