  • Feel good stories for high society

It’s easy for high society folks to reinvent themselves for a Third Act.

But commoners don’t have that luxury - they’re too busy trying to keep their heads above water.

So if you’re doing well, sitting around having tea in your castle, this podcast is for you.

It would be for everyone if she’d interview working class people who’ve managed to land a Third Act. But she probably doesn’t know any working class people.

  • Dazzling

I have not yet had the privilege of listening to all of them, but the Brigid Keenan interview is outstanding, and the Don McCullin one of the frankest, finest conversations I have ever heard.

Jeremy King
Q: You describe your book as a lessons-for-life tome and a counterpoint to the dice-throw approach to life. How do those ideas connect in your day-to-day work now?
The core tenets—integrity, loyalty, and adaptability—remain constant, but the method of applying them evolves. I'm focused on living in the moment, teaching others to do the same, and ensuring that change serves the bigger purpose rather than just personal ambition.
Jeremy King
Q: You've spoken about aging in hospitality and actively recruiting over-50 staff. What changes have you seen in attitudes toward age in the industry?
There has been progress, but prejudice persists. The industry benefits from experience, stability, and a different kind of energy that comes with age. Bringing in older workers also widens the pool of talent and demonstrates that age is an asset, not a liability.
Jeremy King
Q: Jeremy, it sounds like you faced a pivotal moment with the investor dispute and a dramatic exit. How did that shape your approach to leadership and risk going forward?
It taught me the importance of clear boundaries in partnerships, the value of owning your choices, and the necessity of adapting without losing your core vision. I realized that resilience isn't about avoiding adversity but about how you respond and rebuild after it.
Zandra Rhodes
Q: How do two workaholics, when do they come together? When did you have time for each other? How was it? How did it work?
It just sort of worked out to just happen to work out that it gelled and I didn't affect his work and he didn't affect mine, so it worked out perfectly.
Zandra Rhodes
Q: How did that change your view on, when we're young, time is elastic, we feel at times endless, we can do what we want. Suddenly, you're given this sort of...
It was really my work that carried me, my work and my friends carried me through and I could have all the treatment while I was in here.
