  • The mask is completely ripped off.

Love this episode. Love Addie Martin. I met her at the screening of world’s greatest enemy in New York and also got to meet her husband who is one of the first veterans I saw protesting the Iraq war. A few years ago, Abby Martin was one of the first people I saw speaking out against the guys genocide. She was the first to enlighten me. So happy you had her on your show. It’s because of people like you who keep advocating for justice and the sanctity of life. Thank you, Myriam for this fantastic ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Trauma, Epstein & What’s Really Happening!
Q: You critique wellness culture and the idea of oppression narratives; how should listeners approach mental health without falling into cynicism?
By recognizing the truth of trauma and its origins in real-world power dynamics, while also embracing constructive action—focusing on relational healing, boundaries that protect integrity, and social change that reduces harm rather than cynicism that robs motivation.
Trauma, Epstein & What’s Really Happening!
Q: What role does therapy play in addressing generational trauma and the emotional fallout from a political economy built on exploitation?
Therapy aims to reconnect individuals with their authentic selves and to restore emotional balance so they can act rationally within reality, rather than being driven by past wounds. It's about healing relationally and building healthier responses to systemic pressures.
Trauma, Epstein & What’s Really Happening!
Q: You've described a toxic cultural environment and the myth of normal; how does this connect to the Epstein files and the broader discourse on power?
It shows that personal traumas and systemic abuses are symptoms of a larger cultural machinery that rewards profit and control over truth and care. The Epstein files are not just a scandal; they are a window into how the powerful operate within a decaying system. Therapy and authenticity become acts of resistance and a path to reclaiming agency.
Trump, Netanyahu, and the New Crusades: The Unholy Alliance!
Q: How did the idea of end-times prophecy influence political support for wars or conflicts?
The discussion explains that premillennial dispensationalism and biblical prophecies were used to rally evangelical support for military actions, portraying them as part of a divine plan and end-times scenario.
Trump, Netanyahu, and the New Crusades: The Unholy Alliance!
Q: Can you paint us a little bit of a picture of what it was like growing up in the circles that you did?
Monte describes a highly controlling environment where religion and politics were fused, media access was restricted, and women were groomed for submissive roles, which shaped her critical view of Christian nationalism.
