I have had the privilege of training with Leigh Simms on a couple of occasions, so made an effort to listen to this with an open mind. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Leigh discusses his views on kata, and it’s link (and sometimes disconnect) with kumite; the purpose of kata; and the limitations of kata. Fantastic listening material for the practical martial artist, especially karateka. I would seriously recommend this for any progressive, practically minded martial artist. Nick Pahlen
