Ava is an excellent host and brings a level of humor and levity to her coverage that I truly appreciate. I learned so much about the Olympics listening to this show, and found myself sharing what I learned in conversations with friends because it was so interesting and insightful. I’d love to see this podcast exist in support of other “sports moments”!
But I especially appreciate knowing about the hot security squads and tight pants, not even joking. Wish I would’ve listened from day 1. No one else I know to chat about the Olympics, even sports I don’t care about but still get caught up in. Thanks, Ava! Will miss the Olympics and this pod.
As an avid sport fan, I’m a bit disappointed in the overall coverage. In depth stories seemed to only be rewarded to the underwhelming swimmers of these games and not other big moments like on the track, gymnastics, volleyball, water polo and more. The other events seem to only get an overall recap sentence. Please actually feature the stories of your titles in depth instead of giving a by line and turning back to the pool.
Fun and smart - making me engage with the Games and look forward to what Ava and team bring every day. I listen after my regular news pods in the morning
