  • Steve

Your take on Steph Castle is a joke. Your take on Caitlin Clark is uninformed. She’s the reason people watch women’s basketball?? Ok lol. Nope. Your west coast bias is showing- I can’t even educate you on the history of women’s basketball because it seems like you just joined the party. Welcome to 1995. Do some homework. Also, you’re a weird dude and you get so confused all the time; makes it hard to follow your unintelligent ramblings. I’ll still listen for the laughs.

  • No longer about sports

I used to love this podcast. I’m a big sports fan and loved hearing about games, players, and especially loved when Steve had a few friends on for Friday interviews. But it’s no longer about sports. It’s about gambling on sports. The over unders, Steve’s personal stats on his predictions, etc. I’ve unsubscribed and no longer listen.

Interview with Former Broadcasting Partner Josh Mooney on the French Open, Two Comebacks Happening, NHL Finals, & the Brendan Sorsby Situation
Q: You realize we've had six consecutive different Grand Slam champions on the women's side, the last six, one by six different women. Can you name them in reverse order?
Josh provides a running recap of recent champions (including Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Arina Sabalenka, Barbora Krejčíková, Maya Jankovic/Chak, Madison Keys, etc.) and comments on the notable parity and the identities of the winners, highlighting how this pattern has continued into the current season.
NBA All-Star Weekend - What Worked & What Didn't, Why Was Saturday in the Afternoon, Who Was the Reason the Players Tried, & Why Tanking in the NBA is a Bigger Deal than NFL and MLB
Q: How come tanking isn't brought up in other sports?
Tanking is less prevalent in sports like MLB and NFL due to the structure of their drafts and the number of players on a team. Unlike the NBA, where a single player can significantly impact a team's success, baseball and football require more players to function effectively, making tanking less beneficial.
Interview with Bob Sturm from 96.7 The Ticket in Dallas
Q: How did Shadeur Sanders drop that far in the NFL Draft?
Bob Sturm discusses how media narratives, being Deion Sanders' son, and skepticism from general managers and scouts may have impacted Shadeur's draft position.
