I understand podcasts evolve and clearly the current content is working out well for Dave. But it does feel like almost entirely American politics these days. I loved listening to Dave for lighthearted pop culture content and I’m also not American so this stuff is also harder for me to follow. I used to be a daily listener but now it’s only every few days at most. Dave is great still I’m just sad the content has changed :/
The Rush Hour is my go to podcast every day . Dave gives the updated facts , brings the fun and he isn’t afraid of speaking his mind .
I came for the Bachelor reporting, stayed for the Justice for Clayton mania, and remained around for the rest (gestures around wildly). Dave does a great job of reporting a wide variety of stories and he's very good at letting you know where his biases lie. Yes, he is liberal and is not shy about saying so- but he is also very intentional about his criticisms of both parties. I don't always agree with his stance or opinions on things, which I feel is important to hear sometimes (even if we agree... more
I was an OG listener from back in the day when you first got started! I love seeing how far you have come. It’s gotten far too political for me. I want to want to listen so badly but it’s not the feel good funny time it used to be, which is why I watched. The news is sad enough ,the world needs more fun! I will no longer be a listener but thanks for all the laughs ❤️
I was turned on to The Rush Hour from my long time favourite podcaster, Reality Steve. My primary interest has been and always will be, all things Bachelor/Bachelorette content since I am a day oner. I have loved Dave Neal’s content. I am OBSESSED with anything and everything Clayton and Laura Owen’s related. Even though I am Canadian (thank goodness), I do enjoy Dave’s view on Trump because I couldn’t agree more. I will say that I have zero interest in the Baldoni/Lively case and Candace O... more

This show blends pop culture, entertainment, and political commentary with a brisk, opinionated delivery. Episodes frequently cover Bachelor Nation news, celebrity culture, and current politics, often weaving in sharp takes, humor, and debates about media framing, accountability, and policy. A notable edge is the host's unapologetic, candid stance and quick pivots between light entertainment and heavy political analysis, which can appeal to listeners who want both pop culture gossip and provocative political takes in a single feed.
