  • Love the Pod; hate the side series

Just writing to agree with some other reviews I saw. I’ve listened from the beginning and have caught myself missing some here and there because I’m trying to avoid all the extra ones that show up under this podcast’s name. I don’t understand why other shows are labeled as the “Ben and Ashley Almost Famous Podcast”. Apple podcasts, please fix this or make it to where iHeart can’t do this.

Editing to add that I LOVE when Amy pops on the pod. She’s so fun.

  • Too many filler shows

I wish they could remove Dirty Rush, bachelor OGs and all the other filler shows they added with boring hosts (I cannot stand listening to Trista, she’s always clueless and clearly half asses all episodes with zero research and presents such a generic boring take on everything). Please filter these episodes out and stop giving all these boring people podcasts when they can’t handle it.

  • Peg and Mel

I listened to both Peg and Mel’s interviews. Mel came off as condescending and arrogant. He’s actually quite offensive.

I am Peg’s age, also divorced with no big desire to get re-married..so I get it. She did get preachy about her age and wisdom…which got tiresome, but she also had a point. I think the two of them are very proud of their careers and feed off each other’s inflated confidence. I wish them well but I think Peg ultimately deserves better and will get tired of Mel’s lack of dep... more

  • Please pause other podcasts

I enjoy Ashley and Ben but can not be bothered with all these other podcasts showing up. I fast forward thru the ridiculous amount of commercials. Never ending!

  • Peg Interview

You felt upset by the way that Peg downplayed your wisdom, but after re-listening, you kept hammering the fact that they did not get engaged and their love story did not feel real. She even told you your comment was hurtful. I felt that she was backed into a corner and had to continually defend her relationship. You should definitely have lightened up on those types of questions after she already had to answer it once.

Do Men Want You To Pick Up The Check?
Q: Is it ever appropriate to have sex in a public setting when you are above the age of 30?
Generally, public sex is seen as gross or inappropriate due to potential witnesses and privacy concerns, so it's advised to avoid such settings, while acknowledging that the idea can be arousing for some, it's better to keep it private.
Meet Mr. Right
Q: What is the golden standard for texting when you're first dating someone, including how much you should text, how often, and how this evolves over time?
Texting should reflect personal style and life circumstances, not fixed rules. It's about balance and timing; sharing what's going on, avoiding over- or under-communication, and using texting to show you're thinking about them without flooding their feed.
Meet Mr. Right
Q: Hilary asks about moving in together after a divorce and whether it seems too soon, and what to do if he says no.
Moving in should feel natural if both people are on the same page; if one isn't ready, discuss openly, consider timing, and don't pressure. If there's resistance, reassess whether you're both seeking the same level of commitment.
Meet Mr. Right
Q: Hi, my name is Maggie, and I live in Los Angeles. I went on a date with a guy who just got out of a relationship a month and a half ago. Am I rebound? Should I pump the brakes or keep dating?
The host reassures that there isn't an obvious red flag yet and that dating after a breakup or divorce is normal. If you're enjoying it and it feels natural, you can continue, but stay cautious about being labeled a rebound and look for clear signs without forcing things.
Almost Famous OG: Knocking Down Walls with Sandra Mason
Q: How did your background as a real estate agent influence your take on the design challenges?
My real estate experience gave me a practical eye for space, function, and how design decisions look on camera, but the social game often overrode technical considerations.
