    This guy is a Putz.

Some points are valid about societal conditioning and make acceptance

But he wants to discount the notion of trauma affecting

Which I do not believe you can go without, including sounds like he is in a little bit of his own denial

  • Roland is an insightful person

I have now spent a couple of hours speaking with Roland as I prepared to speak on his podcast. He is informed, compassionate, and not afraid to hold himself and others accountable. As an experienced psychologist who works with high achieving men, I believe his program can be helpful to men who struggle with addiction.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

115. “It’s just porn”, “It was all virtual”, “We never had sex”: Want to Hear The Truth?
Q: How should someone start recovery today?
Join a community of men, reach out for real accountability, and replace blocker dependence with open communication, self-discovery, and consistent support from peers and loved ones.
115. “It’s just porn”, “It was all virtual”, “We never had sex”: Want to Hear The Truth?
Q: What's wrong with pornography?
Pornography is argued to be unsustainable for individuals and society, often dehumanizing women and creating a pathway toward more extreme consumption; recovery focuses on behavior-by-behavior analysis and building authentic, communal accountability.
62. Have You Tried This Yet? Using IFS To Treat Sex Addiction
Q: How does the partnership model IFIO expand IFS for couples or partners?
IFIO extends IFS into couple therapy, helping both partners map their parts, understand protective dynamics, and coordinate healing so interactions with the other person support recovery rather than trigger it.
62. Have You Tried This Yet? Using IFS To Treat Sex Addiction
Q: What is Internal Family Systems and why is it useful for addicts?
IFS is a system where 'parts' are seen as subpersonalities with their own desires and fears. By identifying and befriending these parts, especially the younger, wounded ones, clients can reduce shame, understand triggers, and choose more intentional responses rather than blindly acting on old patterns.
67. How Betrayed Partners and Sex Addicts Can Communicate Effectively
Q: Dani, where do you start when a couple is still in the crisis phase?
The first phase is about safety and boundaries because without safety the couple cannot begin honest communication. We need to establish realistic boundaries, keep the nervous system regulated, and open a dialogue about what each person can actually commit to without creating further trauma.
