This could be a decent podcast if Viborg-Thune didn’t get caught up in overly descriptive, flowery prose. It’s overwrought and much of it sounds like an amateurish attempt at being poetic. He used the word “flicker/flickering” in a Joel Rifkin episode 13 times in 30 minutes. He is also way too illustrative with details of rape. It’s completely unnecessary to talk about the size of Shawcross’ or Buono’s penis or elaborate on the levels of pain felt by the victims felt because of it. Descriptions ... more

The host's diverting into extended multi-episode presentation(weeks’ gaps in between episodes, destroy the flow and continuity) and his ramping up of naked pleas for subscriber’s moneyis annoying. As are, for some, his accented delivery. It is the writing however, that refuses to let me leave. It is superlative, evocative and moving, far better than almost all in the genre.
