  • Deep dive into creative process - great for Educators!

As an artist, I find echoes of my experience in these excellent conversations, and they allow me to go deeper in understanding more intimately the world of the creative process. As an educator, I find so much wisdom that will allow me to articulate and encourage my students along their own creative journeys.

Keith shares his hard-fought wisdom on the elusive topic of creativity. He doesn’t live in the academic ether - he gets specific for practitioners. His guests feel like best-kept secrets. I've been loving these episodes because of the wonderful guests. So far at least, they've all been super knowledgeable and also easy to understand. These are people that you don't find on other podcasts and I've gotten something valuable from each episode! I hope this keeps going, it's still a little bit new. I think it sounds as good as any other podcast and I LOVE THERE ARE NO ADS!

  • Excellent and thought-provoking podcast

I discovered Keith through his excellent book ‘Explaining Creativity’, and this podcast meets my high expectations. Well-chosen guests and great examples of the creative process. That said, Keith, please have guests define key terms (like ‘design thinking’) for a lay audience like me. You do this very well in the book, and it’d be great to see that carried over into your work as an interviewer. I’d also love to see an interview with Angus Fletcher. I regard him as one of the most insightful and ... more

  • Love this podcast!

Dr. Keith Sawyer's "The Science of Creativity" podcast is a masterclass in understanding creativity. He's one of the world's foremost experts on creativity, art, and design, so it was exciting to see this podcast emerge. Listening to the first few episodes, I'm impressed by how he bridges the gap between psychological research and real-world applications. It's also cool to also get some unique stories and examples of creativity out there in the world and pop culture (e.g., board games, movies, e... more
