I used to listen to this when Linnea did the reading, then she quit and there was nothing for months. Then ‘Yewlia’ took it on and then she quit to go to a rival podcast that failed and there were more months of silence here. Now the current version of the podcast with Marina has disappeared.
It’s ok - but just some blogger using a bad AI generated voice that’s difficult to understand at times. It’s of courses biased towards Ukraine since it’s posed by someone in Ukraine, but there’s some legit news in it and it’s not all propaganda. I’d love to find something daily that was neutral and just have the news and analysis without opinion (troop movements, what it means) - but that doesn’t really exist as far as I can find. Detailed updates on the war with information on the battlefield situation. Also the political situation and excellent reporting of this cruel and illegal war. Sad reporting of death toll and gregarious war crimes by Russia.
I always found the Report to be extremely biased to the point of being fairly skeptical of their assessments especially since their assessments were so broad as to be pretty much correct since you can interpret it however you want. That being said their reporting is actually fairly accurate but once Linnea Hubbard left I simply have so much trouble trying to understand anything with the new host’s thick accent.
