I can not recommend the Rokugan Masterclass arc highly enough. It’s like the best ‘Directors Commentary’ on your favourite DVD but for Gaming. Jim lays his thinking out honestly and directly enough that you can learn an absolute tonne here. These guys know story in and out and through Masterclass you get to see how they make the magic.
Get it in your ears, your game will be the better for it.

This show is awesome, and provides a great amount of knowledge for anyone who is a GM. Love how they use an actual play to showcase how a GM makes their decisions at a table. Looking forward to more episodes.
I really enjoyed the conversation and philosophizing around how to be a game master - I've been listening to several actual play podcasts for just this reason. This one covered a game I've never played, and yet the ideas that Jim Murphy described kept me coming back to the stream for the full story.
I’ve never been one to listen to APs much but this series is amazing. By bringing in the GM you can get a lot of new perspective that adds so much to listening experience. The tips and notes also help bring home many of concepts discussed else where in the RPG Academy’s podcasts.
