  • A newcomer to this podcast, but what an absolute joy. The research and insight on one of the greatest British TV shows is exquisite. My brother and I have always loved the show but I often felt shy to admit it when I moved away from the south wales valleys to London. Early doors is wonderful too but misses the caroline aherne touch a little.

    Norma is the show's Uncle Junior equivalent. All the best lines and is a constant thorn in the side of the main character. I wonder if Jim ever had the ma... more

    Great podcast with a true fan and in Tom someone who thinks as deeply about characters that we’ve only in real terms spent about 15 hours with as I do. Can’t wait for the Early Doors and Mrs Merton episodes
