I found this Podcast interesting because Mark Driscoll had a significant influence in me coming to faith in Christ and I cannot deny how God used him to help me understand and love the scriptures and I am sure I am one of many who would profess that. Having been part of a church and a company that were both deeply, positively impactful and deeply hurtful, I have hesitated listening to this in a raw emotional and spiritual state. I have never listened to a pod cast where tears streamed down my face. My heart is so sad for the people who suffered and were abused by this terrible excuse of a man who twisted Jesus’s ministry for his own gain. I have been questioning my own experiences in the evangelical church very closely related to Mark Driscoll. I see you now, and thank you to Christianity Today for this very important body of work.

I followed Mars Hill for a short time from afar, specifically Jeffersonville, IN. I knew deep inside that something was amiss with that Mars Hill. 13 years ago my family and I were members of a large multi site mega church too and we experienced some of what I heard in the story and quit church for a few years. We are in a great church today. No more mega churches. This was done so well,thank you
