  • I feel seen!

I found this podcast when I was weighed down by pressure to sleep train and knowing that sleep training didn’t sit right with me. This podcast made me feel so NORMAL!! I’ve learned that everything my baby and I are doing is biologically normal and we’re not doing anything wrong. I feel such a weight lifted from my shoulders and I even feel more patient with baby and myself and we go through the ups and downs of baby sleep.

  • So helpful!

It's really refreshing to hear this evidence and perspective on sleep, which just gets completely drowned out by articles on sleep training throughout the internet. Thankyou ☺️

Finding Your Community With Elizabeth
Q: What are your thoughts for a parent struggling to find community?
Finding community can be really hard, especially as kids age. Starting with neighbors, school connections, or connecting with groups specifically for new parents can help. Community can evolve over time based on your and your children's needs.
Baby Gear And Body Tension With Austin Rees
Q: Do you see any impact with the swaddle on babies with digestive issues or reflux challenges?
It's mostly about tension patterns, as limited movement in a swaddle can exacerbate pressure on the abdomen, affecting comfort for babies with reflux.
Baby Gear And Body Tension With Austin Rees
Q: Can you talk about swaddle and sort of tense babies, especially what I see a lot of?
Swaddling can limit movement, which impacts their gross motor development, and overly tight or extended use of swaddles can contribute to tension in babies.
The Complexities Of Postpartum Mental Health And Sleep With Dr. Emma Basch
Q: How would you help people see when it's more average struggles versus maybe kind of urgent clinical needs?
It's nuanced. Always worth getting support even if what you experience seems normal. Look out for intensity and duration of symptoms to seek additional support.
