  • The best Red Sox podcast!

This is the best Red Sox podcast around! Jake, Bob, Eric and Keaton provide analysis with insight, humor and intelligence.

What sets this show apart from others is how smartly they talk about the team without ever being boring or overly wonky.

It’s thoughtful, sharp and entertaining. One of the highlights of my week is when a new episode drops and I recommend it to all Sox fans!

  • Best Sox Pod there is!

Been listening on various threads for seemingly ever, but probably about 8 years. Love the new feed that is separate from the former group feed. Excellent analysis and good, topical humor. Focus always on what’s happening with various angles. Jake, Bob, Keaton, and now Eric provide a variety of perspectives from different angles. Best Red Sox podcast you can find. Keep up the good work guys!

  • The GOATs of Red Sox Media

The Red Seat is the best part of my week, hands down. These guys are knowledgeable, entertaining, funny and passionate. There are few details they leave out and always address the things you don’t think about. The kind of dudes you would gladly buddy up with at Fenway in the bleachers. Keep it going gentlemen. Always a pleasure to listen.

  • Best Red Sox pod

The Red Seat has been a must listen for me for the last few seasons. There isn’t a pod out there that covers the team as well as they do. Funny and insightful, will not disappoint.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Red Seat: Connelly Early/Curtis Mead Trade Reaction
Q: What do you see as Mead's fit at second base and the overall balance of the roster going forward?
Mead should start at second base with durability to contribute offensively; the move also frees the team to pursue additional upgrades (like shortstop/catcher) while preserving pitching depth for 2026 and beyond.
The Red Seat: Connelly Early/Curtis Mead Trade Reaction
Q: Eric, what were your overall impressions of this?
Mead is a strong offensive bat with a breakout year, and the trade addresses a clear team need at the cost of a valued pitcher—balancing upside with short‑term gaps and forecasting longer‑term roster implications.
The Red Seat: That New Manager Smell!
Q: What do you think about Peyton Tully's outing on Monday and what we've seen through three starts this season?
Tully has earned a solid spot in the rotation as a capable fifth starter with upside, showing he can handle major league workload and deliver competitive outings, though the group may still need to manage innings as injuries surface.
The Red Seat : Hitting Preview
Q: How much does spring training really matter?
It varies on who it is; it matters less for veterans while it's important for younger players who need to get into a rhythm and may be fighting for a spot.
The Red Seat: Suarez in, Bregman out
Q: Do you think that Bregman's second half fade was a factor in the Red Sox letting him go?
I really don't think it did, as they still offered Bregman a pretty good contract.
