Where do they keep finding the random guest? Steve Beacom sounds like an old fan, not an informed football analyst. The podcast falls off a cliff when he goes off on a 1980s story telling narrative. more
Where do they keep finding the extra random guest? “Football writer” is an awfully broad description. James and Simon or Caoimhe only please. Show drops off with random guests, some don’t even seem well informed.
This pod used to be sweet.. more
Hothersall and Pearce are great. But I’m done with this podcast now. Hughes is more morose than Victor Meldrew…. how can you get more enthused about a City player than THAT Mo goal/performance! And O’Neill regularly seems underprepared and ill informed. If you’re looking for a Liverpool podcast go to TAW… far more fun and insightful
Generally great but not sure 2 shows a week is working. Analyst seemed under prepared/researched for 10th Sept episode.
