  • Struggled with this

Agree with others that the timeline is hard to follow. I also struggle with some of the personal comments. Although he’s probably right to criticise her, it’s feels snarky and over personal. Had to stop at Ep4.

  • Meh.

This really doesn’t need to be 2 seasons. He’s really drawing this story out. Quite repetitive - I skip around because he drones on and on about this woman who knocked his socks off 20 years ago- turns out she was a compulsive liar. It’s a story as old as time. Does this need 40 episodes to tell. No. He could have tightened up the storytelling and edited out some of the whining and got to it faster. Would have made it a more enjoyable listen. The amount of time I spent rolling my eyes….

I found myself continuing to listen to episodes trying to piece through the nonlinear storytelling only to get more out of order breadcrumbs as the host promised to talk more about it later, and never really followed through. I’d call it recursive but I think that implies it would be more organized.

It seems like the podcast may have started out as a personal... more
