  • I’m not your traditional PM and this a gold mine

As someone who comes from a sales background, I discovered a new world a few years ago in the product and success space but haven’t had the formal training and title of a PM. This podcast offers a wealth of information to help those like myself grow into the space, understand the department growth opportunities, and most importantly drives at instilling a line of thinking that I think great PMs have.

  • Useless

Tried to listen two podcasts. First had invited lecturer with awful accent that I barely could understand, cause I am not a native speaker. Second podcast was soooo general. I think that the speaker was reading a Book Content and added words like “you need to do a…” and “… is very importAnt in your job”. Example: “you need to find metrics that you can analyze to understand how to grow your product”. WOW! That is really a valuable peace of information.

  • Extremely bad sound quality

Guys you cannot have 100s of episodes without having fixed the very basic fundamental issue of an audible sound quality for the speaker. It is fair to say that you are giving in-person attendees more preference.

  • Helpful

I’ve walked away from several episodes feeling more informed, inspired, or with a great to-do list for myself as an amateur PM!

GoFundMe CPTO on Building Marketplaces Across StubHub, TheRealReal & GoFundMe | Arnie Katz | E294
Q: What does the CPTO role mean in practice for your org structure and how is collaboration between product, engineering, and other functions handled?
The CPTO combines product and technology under one leadership layer, with a head of product, SVP of product, VP of product, SVP of engineering, Chief AI Officer, VP of design, and Head of Research. This structure enables triads within squads and autonomous tribes, allowing faster resource reallocation and quicker decision-making at the leadership table.
GoFundMe CPTO on Building Marketplaces Across StubHub, TheRealReal & GoFundMe | Arnie Katz | E294
Q: Can you give us a lay of the land of where is the business today?
GoFundMe is a 16-year-old company with a mission to help people help each other; it has facilitated over $40 billion in donations and operates both consumer fundraising and a B2B non-profit pages business (Classy). The leadership combines product, engineering, design, and data with GoToMarket teams to support both donors and fundraisers at scale.
Robinhood VP of Product on Prediction Markets, AI-Native Investing Tools, and Social Trading for the Next Generation | Abhishek Fatehpuria | E293
Q: Can you explain the vision for AI in wallet share and advisory services?
AI will augment but not replace human advisory needs; higher-net-worth clients still seek human interaction, while AI tools enable advisors to serve more clients, creating a dual-path where AI handles routine tasks and humans provide nuanced guidance.
Robinhood VP of Product on Prediction Markets, AI-Native Investing Tools, and Social Trading for the Next Generation | Abhishek Fatehpuria | E293
Q: What strategies accelerate product velocity while maintaining quality and compliance?
Align compliance early, empower cross-functional teams (GM model), and focus on scalable quality systems; speed comes from faster ideation, and disciplined investments in a few magical moments with a strong design system to keep UX cohesive.
Robinhood VP of Product on Prediction Markets, AI-Native Investing Tools, and Social Trading for the Next Generation | Abhishek Fatehpuria | E293
Q: How are you thinking about AI integration across the Robinhood experience rather than as a standalone feature?
The goal is to embed AI into existing workflows so it enhances, rather than disrupts, the user journey. This includes AI-assisted customer support, market insights like Cortex Digest, and AI-powered trading tools that fit into current apps and processes.
