  • I’m not your traditional PM and this a gold mine

As someone who comes from a sales background, I discovered a new world a few years ago in the product and success space but haven’t had the formal training and title of a PM. This podcast offers a wealth of information to help those like myself grow into the space, understand the department growth opportunities, and most importantly drives at instilling a line of thinking that I think great PMs have.

  • Useless

Tried to listen two podcasts. First had invited lecturer with awful accent that I barely could understand, cause I am not a native speaker. Second podcast was soooo general. I think that the speaker was reading a Book Content and added words like “you need to do a…” and “… is very importAnt in your job”. Example: “you need to find metrics that you can analyze to understand how to grow your product”. WOW! That is really a valuable peace of information.

  • Extremely bad sound quality

Guys you cannot have 100s of episodes without having fixed the very basic fundamental issue of an audible sound quality for the speaker. It is fair to say that you are giving in-person attendees more preference.

  • Helpful

I’ve walked away from several episodes feeling more informed, inspired, or with a great to-do list for myself as an amateur PM!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Lean Startup Author on New Book Incorruptible: Why Good Companies Go Bad and How Great Companies Stay Great | Eric Ries | E297
Q: What is the core difference between the original Lean Startup ideas and your new approach in Incorruptible?
The core remains the same: build with a principled, long-term orientation, but Incorruptible adds structured governance, ethical guardrails, and explicit mechanisms like a trust-based governance layer to protect the mission against short-term pressures.
Superhuman Mail CEO on Rediscovering Product-Market Fit in the Age of AI, Renaming Post-Grammarly Acquisition & Competing against Google Workspace | Rahul Vohra | E295
Q: Can you walk through the PMF engine steps and how they lead to a roadmap?
Survey to quantify very disappointed users, segment to identify the highest-value customer, analyze main benefits and what holds users back, implement by building requested features, and track PMF continually.
Superhuman Mail CEO on Rediscovering Product-Market Fit in the Age of AI, Renaming Post-Grammarly Acquisition & Competing against Google Workspace | Rahul Vohra | E295
Q: How do you measure productivity gains and translate that into a compelling sales narrative?
By tracking real-work outcomes such as emails sent and AI-assisted writing, and by showing objective improvements in speed and responsiveness, supported by case studies from large clients.
Superhuman Mail CEO on Rediscovering Product-Market Fit in the Age of AI, Renaming Post-Grammarly Acquisition & Competing against Google Workspace | Rahul Vohra | E295
Q: What does AI native really mean, and how is it different from marketing buzzwords?
It means re-thinking and rebuilding workflows from the ground up, not bolting on AI to existing apps, which makes the product inherently faster and more integrated with users' real work.
Snowflake VP of AI on Why Enterprises Hide Behind Governance to Avoid Real AI Transformation | Baris Gultekin | E296
Q: Tell me more about how Snowflake enables enterprises to start with AI transformations without waiting for perfect governance.
We recommend starting with a small, high-ROI set of use cases, build a semantic model and governance for that scoped project, and then expand. This approach combines practical, controlled experimentation with a broader governance framework as adoption grows.
