As a BRCA1 carrier who is now a BC survivor and OC previvor, I can relate to so much of this. As a South Asian (Indian) I see a lot of stigma in the community, which leads to underreporting. I was very lucky to be the first in the US whose mutation was considered likely pathogenic and gave me the option of a PARP inhibitor. I would love for you to interview people who study mutations in South Asian communities.
The cancer vaccines episode was great. Great job Sara!
Grateful for this informative podcast. I will be sharing with family members too :)
I recently found out about this podcast after being diagnosed with Lynch syndrome and I started listening from the first episode and so far I love it. It’s very good. I am not religious so that part doesn’t speak to me, but the rest of it is just excellent.
Love this podcast! So much great info !
