So happy to have them to listen to 2 and three times.
We need words. Language shines a light on humanity. This podcast brings clarity to the world of the poet. In the uncertainty of our days, what we need now is having a place to reflect on words. Thanks.
I usually listen to modern poetry as a discipline, a learning experience, not for enjoyment. However, with this podcast, I find myself skipping too many episodes.

A thoughtful exploration of contemporary poetry and the craft behind it, with intimate conversations that blend autobiography, performance, and literary critique. Episodes commonly center on the relationship between form, identity, and social issues, often weaving in readings, prompts, and interviews with poets, editors, and writers. The format tends to balance accessible discussion with deep dives into technique, making it appealing to serious readers, writers, and educators seeking both inspiration and craft guidance. A notable edge is the show's sustained engagement with poetry's place in culture, including meditation-like exercises and prompts that invite listener participation.
