  • Screw Jerry

Jerry is so bad that you all deserve 1 star for working for him more. I left a more detailed review on “The Break” if you care to read it

  • Turn it down

Hard to listen to and enjoy this group. A lot of gossip and non football shouting. Need to do something with the mics because half the show is outrageous screaming and laughing right into the microphone which in turn blasts from my speakers

  • No enough actually football talk.

Way too much talk about everything else but Dallas Cowboys football. Probably the least informative podcast about the actual team.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Player’s Lounge: Iconic Brands Don’t Change
Q: Where do the Cowboys go at 12 and 20, and which positions should be prioritized?
The panel largely agrees on defense, favoring edge rusher and corner at the top two picks, unless a top-tier talent like Sonny Styles is available at 12, in which case alternative placement is discussed.
Player's Lounge: Fluctuations in Linebackers
Q: Do you believe Sam Williams can adapt to a three-four system and what does that say about his character?
While there is skepticism about his distribution of emotions on field, his physical tools and the new scheme could unlock a better, more versatile role, especially in a depth position; overall, the group remains cautiously optimistic about his potential with development.
Player's Lounge: Salty Butter?
Q: How do you feel about Aubrey's asking price?
The hosts express mixed feelings, acknowledging that asking high can be part of negotiation tactics, but questioning the realistic value of kicking contracts in the context of team needs.
Player's Lounge: Gotta Have the Stats
Q: What about you? Are you more of a QB wins type of MVP or more stat oriented?
I feel like for me, I'm a balance of both. I need you to be top three in whatever stat line you are, but once you start getting to that top three, it does come down to wins.
Player's Lounge: Cowboys Improving
Q: What if they decide, we don't want to pay high dollar for you because we know sooner or later, your position is expired milk. You're going to wear off.
I mean, that's pretty much what happens. Is it not worth it for the peace of mind going in my mind, going into 26, where we think they had a couple more pieces defensively, keep rolling along with this offense?
