  • Relevant

I have found the topics in this podcast to be really relevant to my life and also inspiring. As someone who is pivoting into a new career mid-life I love hearing stories of people who are also crazy enough to make big changes! I think about the episode with Bebo Norman often as I am a once- musician now going into the medical/ helping field. Thanks for this offering, Andrew. I look forward to every new episode.

  • I’M SO THANKFUL IT’S BACK

I started listening to the podcast several years ago in my own season of “pivot.” I have been encouraged by all the stories of transformation through unexpected circumstances. I was so excited to see NEW EPISODES!!! This podcast is amazing and has been life giving to my own faith. Thanks for reminding us to lean in to the hard questions of faith in Jesus rather than running away from them.

  • Simply wonderful

There are soooooo many podcasts out there these days… way too many, but seriously I’d say these podcasts are some of the best out there.

Andrew has the ability and really the gift to ask good questions and carry conversations with others in such a gentle and beautiful manner, he listens well, and is able to bring the person that he is interviewing to draw out the important life lessons of his/her life and recognize the divine intervention and gentle leading…

We all need testimonies, and these... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Sara Groves: Are You a 'Mom and Pop' or a Walmart?
Q: What does it mean to be a 'mom and pop' artist in a world of big labels and streaming metrics?
It means embracing a slower, sustainable, community-centered approach, focusing on meaningful relationships, personal curation of work, and inviting others into the creative process through platforms like Patreon and Art House North.
Sara Groves: Are You a 'Mom and Pop' or a Walmart?
Q: Why did you choose to exchange a 'mini kingdom' for a smaller, more community-focused space?
The move was driven by a sense of wanting rootedness, shared dialogue, and the possibility of bringing conversations from touring into a neighborhood and home. It evolved into a larger ecosystem where the space serves artists, audiences, and partners, not just a personal performance venue.
Who Is Amy Grant Now?
Q: How did the process of building The Me That Remains change your approach to making music?
She describes leaning into incremental progress, writing with collaborators, and approaching the project as a careful, patient evolution rather than a sprint, which allowed her to reconnect with her craft while managing health challenges.
Who Is Amy Grant Now?
Q: Why now for this album and this moment in your life?
Amy explains that a long recovery period, memory challenges, and a renewed openness to lyric-driven work led her to write and collaborate differently, treating music as personal therapy and a pathway to healing.
N.T. Wright: What If Christianity Got Heaven Completely Wrong?
Q: What role does dialogue and debate play in your work and in how you handle controversial topics?
He emphasizes civil discourse, learning from others like Marcus Borg and the Jesus Seminar, and the importance of presenting arguments clearly while defending others' right to speak and explore ideas.
