The show builds a sense of intrigue but you feel strung along in the end as there is no satisfying pay off. And the ending is too abstract and unexpected for a shortform series with no follow up.

5 star mystery thriller ... with a caveat. The adult actors sound similar, especially Ali and SteIla. The accents might have thrown me off. I'm from the US. Characters listed below to sort out who's who, what's what. If this was a n independent production I would think more of it, I imagine, but "This is the BBC", so...
