The 90’s a time when people had less distractions & prioritised speaking with people over the phone. Listening, having conversations truly connecting. Meeting that fundamental need of our existence being acknowledged ; being heard.
The Mojave Phone Booth seems to be the place for Grace Sharp to offload the things that have been bottled up, the stories that steal our peace , is she looking for absolution.

Michael Wilder Frazel deals in magic, and The Phonebooth is no exception. This story, even though it fixes itself to a single, solitary telephone, took me for a salty journey. The episodes were short and hot, and I am waiting (not-so-patiently) for what I’m sure will be an even spicier season 2.
Also, Lily Harris. Lily. Harris. The inventor of voice acting? Lily Harris.
