A superb podcast, always informative with an excellent variety of guests and topics. I particularly enjoy the Fyne Fest episodes.
If you’re a fan of beer, hops, coffee, and whiskey, this podcast is a great listen. Hopefully it continues for a longtime to come.
This podcast is mostly composed of interviews with brewers and other beer industry folks, and those conversations are always interesting, thought-provoking and entertaining. If you love drinking beer, thinking about beer and talking about beer, it’s very nice to listen to such top notch beer chat.
Lots of breadth, covers lots of topics. I went through the whole first season in less than a day, and I’ve listened to a couple of the latest.
The pilot is a little shaky, but stay with it. I love the read-through of articles at the end of the podcast, strong Radio 4 energy in the best possible way (from what I remember as a kid!)
I discovered it from an article in the Ferment magazine (also a great publication and I miss their podcast)
Thoughtful, well structured and knowledgeable content combined with an excellent broadcasting ability brings a seamless coherence to Matts Podcast that’s a delight to listen to. The hour just slipped away...and left me feeling I should be enjoying more beer!
