Paul Young is one of my favourite podcasters, writers, speaker and all round lovely human being. I feel in safe hands listening to or reading his writings. Having grownup in an evangelical family with strict adherence to the rules and a strong view of heaven and hell, and the subsequent is vs them clearly defined, Paul's candour about his own family of origin story is so refreshing without judgement. Love indeed wins - I know from experience!

More From the Mailbag - S2E56
Q: How can I accept God's blessings in my life without feeling selfish?
It's important to recognize that God's love is not about being worthy but about accepting and embracing the joy and affection that God offers.
More From the Mailbag - S2E56
Q: What are your thoughts on baptism?
Baptism is not a rite of passage that translates you from outside to inside; instead, it represents a celebration and acknowledgment that you have belonged to God all along.
Talking with Tony Woodall (Part 4) - S2E50
Q: What are three things you have learned from Peyton's life?
I've learned that comfort is different from being comforted, that self-judgment affects how I see others, and the importance of curiosity.
War and Peace - S2E35
Q: How do you propose that a country, for example, in the predicament that the Ukraine is in, handle something like a Russian invasion?
It's important to discern between our church's role of peace and the political actions of states; Christians are called to reject violence and seek prophetic, peace-driven responses instead.
Kevin Burns (Part 2) - S2E26
Q: How are you not bitter?
Burns explains that his strong faith and personal relationship with God prevent him from feeling bitterness despite his experiences.
