Thanks for this compelling podcast. Haven is an awesome, complex character. I could have wished for a season 4!!
I listen to a lot of podcasts, I love stories. This one is incredibly well written and the cast is spectacular! I won’t ruin the story but this one is going to take you on an emotional ride that will haunt you for awhile. If you are looking for a suspenseful, horrifying, sometimes gory “who done it” that inspects the real human cost of violence, tragedy, and grief this is for you. I’m left wondering if it is possible to really heal after loss and if justice can ever truly exist.
storyline is good but the woke overtones get annoying pretty quickly.
Unfortunately the writing just isn't that good. The characters are flat and there's a lot of things that stick out as limits of the writer's ability/knowledge (for example, the description of the rushmore-esque mural in episode 11 makes no sense). The story is all over the place and while it isn't difficult to follow, having multiple pov characters is unnecessarily complicating the plot instead of adding to it. Dialogue is also very meh. Dropping this one unfortunately
I started this just because the premise seemed nice to listen to while doing chores. Suddenly, I'm neck-deep in deception, a revenge arc, and a mystery that keeps me on my toes. I never wanted it to end, yet the end gave justice to everything I went through. 100/10 will recommend and will search for more from these people.
