  • Bridging the gap of academics and pastoring

Perhaps I like it since they feel like they’re speaking directly to me. I have an MDiv degree but feel like I have so much to learn before moving into full-time ministry. The Center for Pastor Theologians (CPT) exists to equip pastors to be theologians for today’s complex world. If nothing else, this has helped me grow in humility and in recognition of how many books I still wish to read!

  • So disappointed

I so wanted to listen, but then heard it start with the bravado for Dan and the comment on celebrity pastors. That was an immediate turn off. That’s one of the many problems of American evangelism today..the desire to be a celebrity! So sad they’d go there

  • Excellent Podcast

CPT content has been vital in my sense of calling and vocation, and I don’t know of any other organization speaking about the ecclesial theologian enterprise as clearly, compellingly, and consistently as the CPT. I couldn’t recommend the podcast more.

  • Thanks

Thank you for helping me sort through the internal struggle; I have had growing in my spirit over the last decade. In attempts to talk with others or find a church where I believed I was on the same page. I’m still bewildered, but feel reinsured that I’m not alone.
