I liked this podcast until the ads distracted me. The overly religious ads (twice for each break sometimes?) for companies I am uncomfortable supporting turned me off. I can’t listen to this show.
There’s a lot of buildup, without a satisfying resolution. And it is made 1000x worse by the annoying ads — some of the most obnoxious ads I’ve heard on any podcast.
A strange story but another great entry in Imperative Entertainment's catalogue.

It wasn’t until the final episode that I realized I’d just wasted 3 1/2 hrs listening to a delusional “bleeding heart liberal”. Helen apparently was unable to overcome a leftist ideological urge to equivocate & minimize the blatantly obvious unlawful commercial exploitation of paddlefish in Missouri by criminals of Eastern European ethnicity.
