Kings of Media are two nice guys with a positive, fun take on Silo (and For All Mankind and Star City). They aren’t easy on the showrunners, but they are respectful and I appreciate that. All of these shows are an incredible amount of work and while there might be some missteps, on balance, I love these shows! I read all the Silo books (and some fan fiction) and I am amazed at the stuff that Donnie and Brian pick up on even though I don’t think they read the books. Totally worth a listener’s tim... more
Really enjoy the podcast and the friendship between the hosts. I like how the pod cast is easy to follow and helps me remember some things I might have missed. Most of my friends are not watching Silo so it’s great to hear others thoughts on the show.
Keep up the great work! Though I am jealous you’re able to watch the next episode right away lol.
I’ve been a committed viewer of For All Mankind since the very beginning, but I’ve never really had anyone to discuss the show with. I searched for a podcast many times over the years without much success. It wasn’t until Season 5 that I discovered Donny and Brian, and I’m so glad I did.
I’ve really enjoyed the discussions, episode breakdowns, banter, and jokes. It honestly feels like getting to talk through each episode with friends who appreciate the show as much as I do.
And if it weren’t f... more
Just a big shoutout to Donnie and Brian who did such a through and fun episode by episode, scene by scene review of the only show that my wife and I are following!
Review is 100 minutes long for the 50 minute show is worth listen then. Recently the news of the show of Neuromancer up next for Apple would excent choice later. Minor error of The Dark Web listed S 3 E 2 when it S 3 E 3 typo. Also those beards in the summer cause me to shave while listening there.
Gen X’er her born in ‘75 and a fellow For All Mankind listener who accidentally bumped into this show. You guys and Bald Move have been my companions for 5 season of FAM and looking g forward to the Silo journey. I was starting to sour on show last season but it seems to have w leveled up with the dual storylines.
I need to finally commit to Star City. I’ll see y’all around for that one too …
I enjoy watching the show and then listening to the guys go through the episodes. They help tie larger concepts from prior seasons together which I often fail to make the complete connection with. I love the banter as well and jokes that carry over from other shows they complete. Great ambassadors to help enjoy my favorite show.
So excited Silo is back! No one else in my immediate friends/family watches this and I need to debrief after each episode. This scratches that itch for me. Keep up the strong work!
